Really enjoyed the meal! I lived in Vietnam for a few years, so I’m pretty picky about pho, and this one was honestly great. I loved that they use thick rice noodles like the ones you get locally in Vietnam, not the thin ones you usually find. So happy to find a place like this in Detroit—will definitely be back when I’m craving Vietnamese food! 😊
I had the pho with raw beef at Pho Denhat, and it was absolutely delicious. The broth was rich and flavorful, and all the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh. The restaurant itself was very clean, the staff were warm and welcoming, and the service was truly top notch. On top of that, the prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Best bowl of pho I've ever had, even after years of living off of Argyle in Chicago. I got the rare beef and brisket. My bowl came out in about two minutes. Flavorful, nourishing broth with tender noodles. Garnishes were so fresh, and they had fish sauce and pickled garlic on the table along with the delicious chili paste. The tender beef with a basil leaf, squeeze of lime and dunk of fish sauce was heaven. Felt energized and warm all day. Friendly family service and a small and focused menu round it out. Will be back, many times!
Nothing says real pho like a steaming hot bowl paired with fresh dandelion leaf and the works ( chili oil, pickled garlic, fish sauce, pepper) they even serve you a dish for your mixing of the sauces. Broth was flavorful and the portions where just right. Probably one of the best spots in Detroit, if not the best. This place is authentic with no frills, how it should be. I ordered the special, meatballs were delicious and it came with flat noodles. Northern Vietnamese style is my guess.
This restaurant is very authentic. The broth was delicious and I like the texture from how they cut the green onion. The pickled garlic at the table was amazing and I’ve never had that before. Will be back and just a heads up, if you have a special request, use Google Translate to Vietnamese, in my case I translated “extra portion of meat” and “half portion of noodle” and she laughed and immediately understood. The beef pho was great
As a Vietnamese, I would say this is the best Pho I’ve ever had. The broth was fresh and flavorful with the richness and sweetness of beef bone. This is more like a Northern style pho and has a LOT of scallion which I love. They also have pickled garlic which is my favorite when eating with pho. The atmosphere is clean the staff are very friendly. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant 1000 times and will come back whenever I’m in Michigan.
I found this place on Tik Tok! I was greeted promptly and warmly by a very pleasant waitress in a pretty skirt suit. When I walked in, I couldn't help but notice the clean and family style atmosphere. I already knew what I wanted, so I ordered before I sat down as I was on my lunch hour and didn't have much time to spend. I had only been there a few minuets and a kind uncle came and brought me a large bowl filled with fresh ingredients, lots of greens, tasty meat and a very flavorful broth. The brisket was very tender and one thing about the Pho special, which is what I had, is that their meat balls are home made and not the chewy ones that come in the freezer section. They were very tasty! Another stand out is the sauces and relishes on the table, I have been to 4-5 Pho spots in Metro Detroit and never seen pickled garlic with red chilis. It was sharp and a little spicy. it was great to cut the fat on brisket and sharpen up the broth with the slightly spicy vinegar. if you aren't a lime fan, I recommend it. They use flat noodles instead of the thin round rice noodles, so that is my only knock if the owners are reading. Overall, I recommend this place and hope they keep up what they are doing!!
The pho has good flavor. There are fresh chicken slices adding more richness and flavor to the broth. Communicating with staff is a little difficult due to language barrier, but they try their best to accommodate. I’ve come back every other week since they opened because the quality and richness of the broth beats 2/3 of all the pho restaurants around the macomb county/ Sterling Heights pho restaurants.
